Our Apex team is made up of a crew of guys who love all things outdoors. Whether it's work or play, you can bet they are not sitting around much. Made partly of locals and partly of newcomers to the area, the Apex team is definitely a team you want working on your property. They are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and to watch them is a lot of fun as you can see how much they enjoy their work. Get to know our team below!
Travis Miller
Travis was born and raised in Sandpoint and if you know him, you can be sure you'll see him smiling and saying hello to everyone. As a local, he loves his community and wants to keep it beautiful by doing just about everything he can to make it happen. This not only includes taking care of people's trees and keeping them safe, but also supporting local government, local businesses, and kids in sports, academics, and other programs to ensure the future of the community. During the summer months, you can bet he's spending as much time fishing as he is climbing trees!
Lance Wood
Lance joined the crew last year, and since then, he is growing leaps and bounds in his skills and leadership. Originally from Newport, WA, he made his way over to Sandpoint in search of something different for he and his family. His background in construction and well drilling prepared him well for this line of work, as they both require detail and focus. Since arriving at ATP, he’s quickly learned how to navigate the trade and greatly enjoys the excitement of it. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing (like most of the team) as well as playing with chainsaws!
Nick Haughey
Nick joined our team last summer and he brings with him a load of experience. Originally from Beaver Creek, OH, Nick started off his professional life in conservation and fire fighting. It was while he was working in these areas that he was asked if he wanted to learn how to climb. And from there, he’s been climbing trees ever since. Nick made his way across the country and spent a few years in other states, but saw an ad for ATP and decided that Sandpoint was a pretty area. This industry suits him as he enjoys having to use his brawn, but also his brain. And as you can see from his photo, he’s got quite a steady hand!
Noah Bell
Noah was born and raised in Coeur d'Alene; a true North Idaho boy! Prior to this industry, Noah worked in various trades of construction such as concrete, framing, welding, and linework. For the past three years, he's been working and living in Florida as a Foreman for a power company to expand his own growth. Gaining lots of climbing experience, he was eager to get home and be where he loves, doing something that aligns with his goals and values in life for he and his family. When he's not working, he's enjoying the beautiful outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowboarding, and spending time with friends and family. Welcome home, Noah!
